Team Swinburne welcomes anyone of any year and any degree. We have opportunities for members in all facets of Engineering and Business, including digital media, events planning, brand management, composites manufacture, electrical systems design, and more.
In addition, our Advanced Technology Research and Design (Autonomous) program supports students undertaking their Final Year Projects, coursework related to Team Swinburne, and niche projects. The Autonomous program is open to students both in and outside of the team, providing opportunities for students to pursue their passions in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Engineering
Our engineering department is comprised of five cross-disciplinary sections which contribute to the development of our car. Sections include Dynamics, Solid Structures, Powertrain, Electronics, and Vehicle Control.
Business
Our business department is comprised of interlinked sections that work to support the team's function outside of car performance. These sections include Media, Design, Marketing, Events, Sponsorship, and Finance.
Autonomous
Our Autonomous program focuses on the development and integration of autonomous systems into our primary vehicle. They work within the wider Vehicle Control section and are always seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals.
